JAZAIR AWARDS FILM FUND
Established by the Jazair Awards Academy, the Jazair Awards Film Fund is a strategic initiative dedicated to supporting the emergence of a new generation of filmmakers. With a clear focus on first-time directors and early-career professionals, the Fund aims to reinforce the foundations of a vibrant, independent, and internationally engaged national cinema.
The Fund provides selective financial support for short films and debut projects at various stages of development, production, or post-production. Its objective is not only to assist promising creators in bringing their first cinematic visions to life, but also to contribute to the professionalization of the film sector through a coherent, long-term approach.
The Jazair Awards Film Fund is open to fiction and documentary formats, as well as artistic hybrid forms that demonstrate strong directorial intent and cultural relevance. Projects are expected to reflect an authentic artistic voicewhile offering the potential for national and international circulation.
In addition to direct grants, the Fund operates as a platform for dialogue and collaboration, encouraging co-productions, partnerships with festivals and institutions, and the integration of young filmmakers into the broader Jazair Awards Academy network. Through these combined efforts, the Fund aspires to play a significant role in shaping the future of cinema.
